Main Aim: to enhance the digital skills and professional competencies of youth workers by equipping them with AI tools that can be integrated into non-formal education. The project particularly focuses on promoting the digital well-being of marginalized youth, especially those who spend excessive time on the internet and screens. The key outcome will be a series of short, informative videos sharing the insights and methods developed, providing a valuable resource for educators and professionals.
Objectives:
Introduce AI tools to help youth workers recognize and support young people with internet, gaming, and social media addictions.
Improve the digital skills of youth workers to develop educational materials that promote the well-being of young people.
Equip youth workers with AI tools to create engaging and impactful digital content.
Strengthen the professional capabilities of youth workers in integrating AI tools into their work to better support marginalized youth.
Activities:
Training Course in Vilnius, Lithuania
28 youth workers (at least 12 from disadvantaged backgrounds) participate in a 6-day training.
Focus on AI tools for recognizing and addressing digital addiction and promoting well-being.
Activities include hands-on workshops, case studies, interactive sessions, and digital material development.
Training Course in Izmir, Turkey
28 youth workers (at least 12 from disadvantaged backgrounds) participate in a 6-day training.
Focus on AI-powered digital content creation and integrating AI into youth work.
Activities include training in AI tools for content creation, collaborative digital projects, AI ethics, and best practices.
Results and Impact:
Training of at least 28 youth workers (12 from disadvantaged backgrounds) across two international workshops.
Production of at least 8 short, informative videos on AI tools and methodologies.
Four partner organizations (Lithuania, Italy, Turkey, Poland) will integrate AI tools into their work, benefiting approximately 400 young people through local dissemination.
Delivery of two 6-day training workshops with over 50 hours of practical and theoretical sessions.
Creation of 10 sets of educational materials on digital well-being and addiction prevention for youth workers and educators.
This project is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program, supporting education, training, youth, and sports initiatives across Europe.
