Main aim: to raise awareness about the discrimination faced by migrants and refugees while promoting social inclusion. Through the creation of music videos and posters for social media platforms, the project aligns with the priorities of Erasmus+ by emphasizing digital skills, intercultural dialogue, and social inclusion. By engaging adults as the target group, the project aims to foster empathy, understanding, and solidarity, leading to more inclusive societies.
Objectives:
Raise awareness: Increase knowledge and understanding among the target groups about the discrimination faced by migrants and refugees, highlighting the importance of social inclusion and fostering empathy.
Promote social inclusion: Encourage dialogue, interaction, and collaboration between migrants/refugees and the host communities, promoting mutual understanding and acceptance.
Enhance digital skills: Develop digital media literacy and production skills among participants to effectively create and disseminate music videos and posters on social media platforms.
Advocate for policy changes: Influence policymakers and decision-makers by sharing project outcomes and recommendations to address discrimination and promote social inclusion in relevant policies and practices.
Activities:
A kick-off meeting in Lithuania.
Conduct a needs assessment with a mutual survey for all partners to identify the specific challenges, concerns, and misconceptions related to migrants and refugees within the target group of adults. This will inform the content creation process.
Storytelling Workshops in France.
Video Production and Graphic Design Training in Turkey.
Social Media Campaign.
Final conference in Lithuania.
Expected Results:
Increased Awareness: Improved knowledge and understanding among the target groups about the discrimination faced by migrants and refugees, leading to increased awareness of the importance of social inclusion and fostering empathy.
