Main aim: to empower young European women by developing their leadership and advocacy skills and promoting gender equality and women's rights.
Objectives:
Enhance the leadership skills of young European women through training programs, workshops, and mentoring, enabling them to take on leadership roles in various spheres of life.
Provide young European women with tools and resources to develop their advocacy skills, enabling them to effectively advocate for gender equality and women's rights.
Raise awareness among young European women about gender inequality and the challenges faced by women in different aspects of their lives, such as education, employment, politics, and leadership positions.
Foster cross-cultural exchange and cooperation among young European women, promoting understanding and solidarity in addressing gender inequality and women's rights issues.
Promote the active participation and representation of young European women in decision-making processes at local, regional, and national levels, aiming for greater gender balance and diversity in leadership positions.
Activities:
Kick-off meeting of project coordinators in Malta.
International workshop for exchanging experiences in Sweden.
Midterm meeting online.
Local training programs with study visits.
Outputs creation.
Final meeting and dissemination event – conference in Lithuania.
Expected Results:
Enhanced Leadership Skills: Participants develop leadership skills through training and mentoring, improving their ability to manage gender equality projects.
Strengthened Advocacy Skills: The project boosts young women's advocacy skills, enabling them to effectively promote gender equality and policy change.
Increased Knowledge of Gender Issues: Participants gain deeper insights into gender inequality, women's rights, and intersectionality.
Educational Material Production: Creation of handbooks and toolkits on leadership and gender equality for widespread use.
Cross-Cultural Understanding: The project encourages cross-cultural exchange and cooperation among European women.
