Main aim: to enhance education for individuals with special needs by leveraging Erasmus+ opportunities. The project seeks to address the evolving technological landscape in special education and the need for updated approaches and professional development for special education teachers. Ultimately, the goal is to improve learning outcomes for students with special educational needs (SEN) and alleviate the challenges faced by teachers in keeping up with these advancements.

Objectives:

  1. To develop a gamified curriculum for use in special education.

  2. To create a web-based platform for easy access to the gamified curriculum.

  3. To provide special education teachers with additional educational resources.

  4. To enhance the engagement and interest of students with SEN in the learning process.

  5. To adapt and improve educational approaches in special education according to current needs and developments.

 

Activities:

  1. Two transnational project meetings to initiate work packages (WPs) and discuss project outputs.

  2. One Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) focused on training teachers in the development of a gamified curriculum tailored to special education.

  3. Creation of two concrete results:

    1. Result-1: Development of a gamified curriculum designed for a more inclusive educational environment in special education settings.

    2. Result-2: Transformation of the gamified curriculum into a web-based format to enhance accessibility for special education teachers.

 

Results:

  1. Development of a gamified curriculum specifically designed for special education, fostering a more engaging and effective learning environment.

  2. Establishment of a web-based education platform to facilitate easy access to the gamified curriculum, providing special education teachers with a valuable resource.

  3. Enhanced interest and motivation among students with SEN, creating a more enjoyable learning experience within special education settings.

  4. Empowerment of special education teachers through additional educational resources, allowing them to better cater to the needs of their students.

  5. Adaptation and improvement of educational approaches in special education to align with the evolving needs and advancements in the field.
