Main aim: to enhance the self-development skills of young people, especially migrants and refugees, and improve their perception of social inclusion.

Objectives:

  1. Supporting young people with fewer opportunities, especially migrants and refugees, and providing social inclusion through creative arts & and creative mediums.

  2. Assisting in overcoming inner prejudices and stereotypes related to people with different backgrounds and finding ways for their adaptation to the youth environment through youth work.

  3. Proposing sustainable youth work solutions and equipping participants with new competencies and skills such as self-confidence, creativity, open-mindedness, etc.

  4. Prepare teaching videos and the booklet of training plans for youth workers and associated organizations usage.

 

Activities:

  1. Kick-off meeting in Lithuania: planning, sharing responsibilities, deciding the structure of the training and teaching videos, deciding the topics and content of them (2 participants).

  2. Transnational training in Turkey: sharing best practices on how to teach young people to promote social inclusion through creative arts and creative mediums, testing locally, and planning teaching videos (4 participants – youth workers).

  3. The final meeting in Belgium: presenting teaching videos and the booklet of training plans, evaluating the project, and disseminating (2 participants).

  4. Local trainings.

  5. Dissemination activities.

 

Results:

  1. Project website with 3 teaching videos (each partner will prepare 1 video).

  2. Social media page of the project.

  3. Logo of the project.

  4. Booklet of 6 training plans on how to teach young people to use creative arts & and creative mediums for social inclusion.

  5. 1 international and 3 local trainings.

  6. 12 trained youth workers transnationally.

  7. 8 youth workers per country trained.
