
Lithuanian Language A1.1 (ONLINE)
Duration: 3 months (12 lessons)
This beginner-level online Lithuanian language course (A1.1) is designed for adults who are just starting to learn Lithuanian and want to communicate confidently in everyday situations – all from the comfort of their home.
The program follows a structured and interactive approach through live online lessons, focusing on essential vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills. Classes are conducted in small virtual groups, encouraging active participation, collaboration, and real-time interaction with the teacher.
Course objectives
By the end of this course (A1.1 and A1.2), participants will be able to:
Greet others, introduce themselves, and share basic personal information.
Ask and answer simple questions about daily life, family, food, directions, and work.
Understand and use basic grammatical structures such as the verb “to be,” cases, question forms, and prepositions.
Read short texts and write simple sentences or short paragraphs about familiar topics.
Take part in basic online or real-life conversations in shops, cafés, and other everyday contexts.
Course content
The A1.1 level consists of 12 lessons, divided into three thematic modules:
Let’s Meet! – Greetings, introductions, nationalities, and basic communication.
How Are You? – Professions, addresses, numbers, and polite expressions.
My Family – Talking about family members, describing people and relationships.
Each module includes speaking practice, grammar explanations, listening activities, and short writing exercises – all adapted for an engaging online learning experience.
Assessment
At the end of the course (A1.1 and A1.2), participants complete a short A1 level test (written and oral) to evaluate their progress and readiness for the next level (A2).
