Main aim: To empower single parents by fostering their active participation, facilitating their transition to the labor market, and ensuring equal opportunities and access to formal and non-formal education. Additionally, the aim is to develop flexible and practical solutions (outputs and activities) that can be readily adapted and implemented in various national contexts, beyond those of the partner countries.


Objectives:

  1. Empower Single Parents: Provide single parents with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to enhance their employability, financial stability, and personal development. Foster entrepreneurial, digital, and career-related competencies to support their transition into the labor market.

  2. Enhance the Capacity of Adult Educators: Train adult educators to effectively support single parents in career counseling, financial literacy, and employability. Equip them with flexible and adaptable tools to provide continuous guidance and coaching.

  3. Develop Flexible and Adaptable Solutions for Single Parents: Create a mobile application integrating best practices and support mechanisms tailored to single parents. Develop a comprehensive toolkit to provide practical strategies for organizations and policymakers.

  4. Promote Cross-Cultural Learning and International Cooperation: Share and implement best practices from partner organizations to provide diverse learning experiences. Facilitate knowledge exchange through international training sessions and local workshops.

  5. Ensure Sustainability and Dissemination of Project Outcomes: Disseminate the project’s results through newsletters, events, and a final conference. Encourage the adoption of the project’s outputs in other organizations and national contexts.


Activities:

  1. International Training in Portugal: 2 single parents and 2 adult educators from each country will participate in 4-day training on entrepreneurship, digital skills, and employability. A child-friendly environment will be provided.

  2. Development of Tools: A mobile application and a best-practices-based toolkit will be created to provide guidance, training, and support for single parents and educators.


  1. International Training in Spain: 4 adult educators per partner will be trained in career counseling, coaching, financial literacy, and micro-financing tools.

  2. Local Trainings in Each Country: Each partner will organize local training sessions implementing 2 best practices from partner countries for single parents.

  3. Final Conference in Lithuania: A project evaluation meeting followed by a public conference for 40 participants to present results, outputs, and future action steps.
